Bidaiesim is a shop for travel data eSIMs, and a Basque project: we are from Bilbao. "Bidaia" means "trip" in Basque.
Why Bidaiesim exists
The idea came on a trip to the United Kingdom, looking for an eSIM to get data. Comparing offers was harder than it should be: "unlimited" plans that actually slow down after a few GB, high prices for what they include, and little clear information to choose with.
We wanted an honest eSIM shop that says clearly what you are buying. We believe travellers can decide for themselves how much data they need, as long as they have all the information to do so.
What we do differently
- All the information, before you pay. For every destination you see the data, the days, the local networks it connects to and the country your connection reaches the internet from.
- No misleading "unlimited". If a plan slows down once the day's data is used, we say so, and we say how slow.
- You decide how much data. If you are not sure how much you need, our calculator helps you estimate it, without pushing you to the dearest plan.
- Final price. The price you see is the price you pay, in euros.
