ActivationValidity starts with the first connection at your destination, not at purchase.
ValidityUnactivated, the eSIM stays installable for 180 days.
IP countryEach plan shows next to its price where your connection reaches the internet: Hong Kong or Singapore, not the country you are standing in. On Android, the TikTok app does not work with a Singapore IP either, because it checks where the eSIM is from; the web version does.
Not includedDoes not include Hong Kong or Macao, which are sold separately.

Questions about China

How much data do I need for a week in China?+

For messaging and maps, 1 GB is enough. If you also use social media and watch video, about 10 GB. Work it out for your trip in “Not sure how many GB?” above.

Will my carrier charge me if I use this eSIM?+

No, as long as you set the eSIM as your data line and turn off data roaming on your usual SIM. Your calls and WhatsApp stay on your number.
